Michelle Renee Turner, services announced

September 10, 2020

Michelle Renee Turner, 50, of Rehoboth Beach passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020, at her home.  She was born Sept. 21, 1969, in Titusville, Pa., daughter of the late Joyce Roberts Hanna.

Michelle relocated to Rehoboth Beach from Moon Township, Pa., in 2012.  She was employed by DE Cardiovascular Consultants until recently, when she began working for Schell Brothers in their warranty department.  Michelle adored her position there and considered it the perfect job for her, as she thrived on helping people.  She was an avid photographer, a skilled cook, and enjoyed arts and crafts. Michelle found great joy in traveling and going to the beach. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Michelle was always excited to root for her favorite team. Never averse to trying new things, she loved to challenge herself.  Michelle was the kind of rare person who could fill a room with her personality and positivity. Above all, she cherished time spent with those she held most dear. A loving and devoted mother, sister and friend, she will be deeply missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know her.

Michelle is survived by her sons: Ryan Turner and Adam Turner, both of Rehoboth Beach;  and her brothers: Terry L. Kistler and his husband Chris Berg of Rehoboth Beach, and Howard Kistler and his wife Lucretia of Florida.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 9 a.m.  Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963, or www.rehobothbeachbears.com/community/donate/.
