Mario ‘Lucky’ Satirin, a hard worker

Mario “Lucky” Satirin, 38, was born to Pelizia Satirin and Jean Riche in Freeport, Bahamas, Nov. 25, 1981. He departed this life Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020.
Mario grew up in Seaford where he graduated from Seaford High School. He went off to college in Little Rock, Ark., where he received the nickname “Lucky.” He then moved back to Delaware. 
Mario worked various jobs throughout Delaware and New Jersey. Some of his jobs were behavior counselor at the Delaware Behavioral Center in Dover, manufacturing jobs at Mountaire Farms and Kraft Foods.  He was a hard worker and enjoyed what he did. In his spare time Mario enjoyed spending time with his kids, hanging out with his friends and cutting hair, which was his passion.
Mario loved his family and was loved by his family as well. He was the proud father of two boys, DeMario Satirin of Delaware and Markus Kosh Cain Satirin of Georgia. Mario loved his sons dearly, and wanted to do right by them; he taught them about family and love. 
Mario was preceded in death by his sisters, Rosiclair Jean and Anette Cena. 
He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, DeMario Satirin and Markus Kosh Cain Satirin; mother Pelizia Satirin; father Jean Riche; three brothers, Philo Jean (Emaida), Adilus Dormivil (Renet) and Jack Satirin (Medialina); and three sisters, Louisina George (Louisne), Jeanette Riche (Markenson) and Grace Riche; a special friend, Tarell and mother of his second child; his best friends Kendy Despinasse and Tresor Louis Charles; and his mentor and “second mother” Pastor Ella Purnell; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends  
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m., with a viewing one hour prior to service at Delaware Gospel Assembly Church in Georgetown.
