Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber appoints two new board members

December 17, 2020

The board of directors of the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Chris Rausch and Jack Riddle as new members.

The chamber’s executive committee selected Rausch and Riddle from a panel of four candidates.

Rausch is co-publisher and general manager at the Cape Gazette. His 22 years of work experience directly in the resort-area market have allowed him to gain a unique understanding of the local economy. His capacity as an advertising representative covering the Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach area has allowed him the privilege to work directly with hundreds of local businesses on their marketing and business development needs.

Riddle serves as president and chief lending officer of Community Bank Delaware, headquartered in Lewes. Riddle joined Community Bank Delaware at its 2006 inception and had worked previously for 24 years in various management roles with Citizens Bank. He is a lifelong resident of Sussex County, where he resides with his wife Susan.

Both Rausch and Riddle will join the chamber board of directors effective Thursday, Jan. 1.

A formal board installation and awards banquet event will be held in the spring.
