We are seniors in our upper 80s and just completed our second virus vaccinations through Beebe Healthcare and given all the problems we had heard about, we would like to pass on comments about our pleasurable experience with Beebe, We initially signed up to be on their list to be notified when the vaccine was available. We are not computer savvy, but this went quite well. We then called Beebe to see how long it would be before they had the vaccine. We quickly got to a live human being and was told two to three weeks. At the start of the third week we got a computer notice to schedule a time and date. This, too, went well except when we tried to submit and confirm our selected time. It kept being rejected, with no indication as to why. Again, we called Beebe and quickly got to a very helpful lady who indicated she was staying late because of all the phone calls. She tried walking us through the computer sign-up, but to no avail. I then noticed I had not indicated whether our phone number was for the office or home. I made the choice and everything went through. I would question why making that choice was necessary.
Our appointment was at the Millsboro campus and we arrived early, but they took us right away even though the facility was full of people. We thought it would take a long time, but we had our shots within 10 minutes, They were very well organized and the staff very professional. The same was true when we went for the second shot. So, kudos to Beebe and its staff for a job well done.
