Louis Marshall Mitchell, DelDOT retiree

Louis Marshall Mitchell, 71, of Georgetown passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021. He was born to the late George and Margaret (Leggs) Mitchell in Milford.

Louis was a lifetime resident of Georgetown, and he worked for DelDOT for many years. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing at karaoke. He also loved racing, and riding his motorcycle. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his beloved wife, Joyce J. Mitchell.

Louis is survived by his children, Mark Mitchell (Brandi), Cora Absher, and Matthew Mitchell; and his three grandchildren, Elizabeth Mitchell, Tyler Absher and Amber Barnes.

At this time, no formal services will take place. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
