Rehoboth’s Wilmington/Baltimore task force meeting set

Rehoboth Beach’s newly formed Wilmington/Baltimore Avenue Streetscape Task Force will meet virtually for the first time at 9 a.m., Wednesday, March 31. The agenda calls for an introduction and background information session on the project.

Milton offices to close for Good Friday

Milton Town Hall will be closed Friday, April 2, in observance of Good Friday.

The town’s administrative offices will reopen Monday, April 5. 

Sussex council off next two weeks

Sussex County Council will not meet Tuesday, March 30, or Tuesday, April 6. The next regularly scheduled meeting is at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 13, in the Carter Partnership Center on the Georgetown campus of Delaware Technical Community College.

Recovery program meetings info available

Due to government restrictions and continuing concerns about the spread of coronavirus/COVID-19, many area facilities that host recovery program meetings have been closed indefinitely. Recovery is a challenging process, made more so during this time of limitations on face-to-face contacts and group meetings. To help those who are dealing with alcohol-related substance use issues and need support, information and resources have been made available online. For more information, go to sussexaa.org.
