Jewelry-making classes set at Heidi Lowe Gallery June 7

May 26, 2021

Heidi Lowe Gallery is offering two different 2.5-hour jewelry making classes every Monday this summer.

Each class is designed for fun, success and safety. Students will learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and wear their own handmade jewelry out the door.

Rings of Intention Class will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, June 7. During this class, each student will come up with a word of intention that embodies what they want to attract, cultivate or focus on in life. Students will be taught basic metalworking techniques to make a silver ring with their word stamped into it and leave with a wearable reminder of their intention.

Pendant with Tube Setting Class will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m., June 7. Participants will learn how to create a small silver pendant with a faceted colored stone. The instructor will guide students through each step of the jewelry-making process, which includes sawing, filing, polishing and tube setting, to create a beautiful finished piece.

Registration closes Friday, June 4. No experience is necessary. Attendees must be at least 13 years old.

Heidi Lowe Gallery is open for shopping by appointment, curbside pickup, and private and group classes at 17522 Ward Ave. #2, Lewes,
