The Cape Gazette traveled to Greece Tuesday, September 21, 2021, accompanied by Lorraine & Emil Apostolos who reside in Millsboro, Delaware when not traveling.
Here Lorraine & Emil are shown while standing in front of the Parthenon, a temple honoring the goddess Athena. They have traveled to Greece many times and each time they take time to view the Parthenon. Construction of the Parthenon began in 447 BC and was completed in 438 BC. The temple represented the power, wealth, and high culture of ancient Greece.
