For over 30 years Delaware Greenways has worked tirelessly to help create more trails, pathways and byways in Delaware, as well as champion safer and greater use for those already in existence. Trails, pathways and scenic byways increase property values, boost spending at local businesses, make communities more attractive places to live and improve health outcomes by encouraging and facilitating exercise and enjoyment of natural spaces.
As Delaware Greenways develops plans, we do so by advocating trails, pathways and byways are for everyone and accessible to everyone, while making sure that we take intentional action to create and support projects and collaborations that will enrich the diverse communities we seek to serve.
Looking forward, Delaware Greenways needs the financial support of sponsors like you to continue and expand our mission.
Our plans include connecting previously underserved neighborhoods, making walkable/bikeable commuting possible for tens of thousands more of our residents and making Delaware a destination to visit for our extensive network of trails and pathways.

To submit a letter to the editor for publishing, send an email to viewpoints@capegazette.com. All letters are considered at the discretion of the newsroom and published as space allows.
