Rehoboth police thank community and Starbucks

January 25, 2022

We would like to thank the Rehoboth Beach community and the staff at Starbucks Rehoboth Avenue, especially Ms. Leanne Dye, manager, for hosting our holiday edition of Coffee with a Cop Dec. 14. During this event, we collected more than 100 new toys, including several bikes, for the Toys for Tots campaign. We would like to especially thank Mr. Dan Gaffney for allowing us to promote our Coffee with a Cop events on his radio show. Not only did this event, and prior Coffee with a Cop events, help to build bridges in the local community, it helped provide some much-needed toys for our youngest citizens who are less fortunate. This event proves that even during challenging times we can all come together to make a positive impact in our community.
