Beach Babies families hold toothbrush, toothpaste drive
Donations during Dental Health Month support People’s Place in Milford
Beach Babies of Rehoboth children and teachers participated in a toothpaste and toothbrush drive in February to support People’s Place of Milford. Families with children at Beach Babies Child Care of Rehoboth donated to a month-long toothbrush and toothpaste drive to benefit People’s Place in Milford.
Director of Education Tori Barr said the drive took place in February, known as National Children’s Dental Health Month. The center staff likes to participate in a service event each month, Barr said.
“We have 55 families here, and we try to do what we can for the community,” Barr said.
In January, the center held a coat and hat drive, and in March, the center will be collecting pet supplies for a local animal shelter.
