Please attend Lewes candidates forum May 3

May 3, 2022

Continuing a 47-year tradition, at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, the Greater Lewes Civic Coalition, once known as the Lewes Homeowners Association, will host a forum for the three candidates for mayor: incumbent Mayor Theodore Becker, Richard Moore and Deputy Mayor Andrew Williams. The forum will give voters a chance to hear from the candidates on issues of importance and to ask them questions.

You may attend in person at the Lewes Public Library’s large meeting room, or by Zoom if you register at tinyurl.com/GLCCForum2022.

The election is Saturday, May 14. If you will be unable to vote in person, you may request an absentee ballot in person at city hall or electronically at www.ci.lewes.de.us/273/Election-Information.

We hope to see you at the forum May 3, online or in person.

Only one letter per author will be published every 30 days regarding a particular topic. Authors may submit a second letter within that time period if it pertains to a different issue. Letters may not be critical of personalities or specific businesses. Criticism of public figures is permissible. Endorsement letters for political candidates are no longer accepted. Letters must be the author’s original work, and may not be generated by artificial intelligence tools. Templates, form letters and letters containing language similar to other submissions will not be published.
