Beebe Healthcare holds artist’s tour of surgical center

Beebe Healthcare held a special tour of its new Specialty Surgical Hospital April 30 for local artists who contributed works that now line the walls of the new center.
Many of the works on display are intended to make patients feel more comfortable, and perhaps nowhere in the center is that more true than in the CAT scan room, which houses Jill Hudson’s work, “Calming,” a portrait of the sand dunes on Tower Road in Delaware Seashore State Park. Above the CAT scan machine itself is a mural of clouds, which is intended to put people at ease during the long procedure.
