A project to widen the beaches in Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach pumped 400,000 cubic yards of sand onto the shore. Work continues to extend outfall pipes and raise the dunes. This photo shows Dewey Beach looking northward past Silver Lake to Rehoboth Beach.
