We'll lead this week with some of the region's fall favorites, including the annual Nanticoke Powwow, the Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival, the Broadkill Music Festival and several others.

If you're looking for something to do over the next few days, you're certainly not going to be without options.

Nanticoke Indian Powwow (September 10-11)

Being held in 2022 for the 44th time, this widely attended and popular festival traditionally kicks off Fall Festival Season in southern Delaware and is held at the sprawling Hudson Fields complex near Milton.

The Nanticoke Indian Tribe has deep roots in Sussex County and invites all members of the community to come out and join them for this yearly celebration of all things Nanticoke.

The "grand entry" will be held at 12 p.m., on both Saturday and Sunday, though both days kick off with a traditional church service from 8:30 until 10 a.m.

During the festival, there will be American Indian drummers and singers, representatives from more than 40 Native American tribes, Indian arts and crafts, vendors and much more.

Admission to the powwow is $10 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 11 and 17. Children 10 and under are admitted for free.

As with the powwow, the Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival is also being held for the 44th time this year and is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, September 10.

Regional artists will again be on hand for 2022 in areas that include painting, metal, porcelain, woodwork, clay and several others.

This annual event serves as a fundraiser for five local schools, which include Lord Baltimore Elementary School, Southern Delaware School of the Arts, Selbyville Middle School, John M. Clayton Elementary School and Phillip C. Showell Elementary School.

There will also be a silent auction at the Bethany Beach Bandstand from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
