Jeffrey Justin Ide, Eagles fan

Jeffrey Justin Ide, 57, of Milford, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, at Bayhealth in Milford, after a courageous fight with brain cancer. He was born Aug. 3, 1965, in Kingston, Pa., son of Glenn Ide who resides in Tunkhannock, Pa., with his wife Vickie, and Donna Ide who resides in Lehman, Pa.

Following a couple of years in college, Jeffrey joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served his country honorably. Following his military service, he worked for many years in real estate prior to being disabled.

He loved going to the beach, gardening, watching his Philadelphia Eagles and being around animals. However, he cherished the time spent with his husband and family, and having a beer together.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his husband, Robert Matthew Burlingame, with whom he had spent 33 years together; his four sisters, Shari Ide of Bear Creek, Pa.; Wendy Ide of Shavertown, Pa., Debbie Rice (Mark) of Dallas, Pa., and Amy Ide of Lake Silkworth, Pa.; two brothers, Edward Ide of Tunkhannock, Pa., and Timothy Ide of Poconos, Pa.; three sisters-in-law, Lori Burlingame Mann of Stevensville, Md., Amy Burlingame of Davidson, N.C., and Anne Burlingame Rogers (George) of Stevensville; and many nieces and nephews.

All services will be private. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
