The Bayhealth team is proud to welcome another primary care physician to care for the community.

Family medicine physician Kyla-Gaye Pinnock, MD, is the newest addition to the Bayhealth Primary Care Dover West practice. Pinnock joins Patience Ankomah, MD; Zulehuma Rather, MD; Shailly Saini, MD; Amita Jain, MD; Ben Hur Hill Aguilar, MD; and Lisa Rossi McCalister, FNP-BC. Pinnock is accepting new primary care patients ages 9 and older.

This practice is part of Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained clinical staff with an administrative support team that operates practices throughout Kent and Sussex counties.

“Bayhealth has been deeply committed to recruiting more primary care clinicians to meet the growing needs of our communities,” said Lawrence Ward, MD, MPH, FACP, Bayhealth vice president for physician services and clinical integration. “We’re thrilled to bring Dr. Pinnock onboard to join our talented team. She is a very knowledgeable and attentive physician who will be integral to our mission of improving the health of our community members.”

Pinnock earned a medical degree from the State University of New York - Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, N.Y. She went on to complete a family medicine residency and served as a clinical liaison at Mid-Hudson Family Medicine in Kingston, N.Y. During her residency, she also served her community by providing healthcare to underinsured musicians and artists through the O+ Festival as well as on-field medical services for high school sports games.

Pinnock is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. She sees patients at Bayhealth Primary Care Dover West.
