Mercersburg Academy announced Arpi Karapetyan, a junior from Lewes, was named a distinguished scholar for having earned all grades of 90 or above during the fall 2022 term.
Millsboro student-athlete honored at Shenandoah
Shenandoah University announced Taylor Bullis of Millsboro is among the student-athletes who are inaugural inductees to its Pi Chapter of the Chi Alpha Sigma national collegiate athlete honor society. The chapter is open to student-athletes who earned at least a 3.4 grade-point average and have junior academic standing.
Local students named to Frostburg State dean's list
Frostburg State University announced Cape Region students who were named to its dean’s list for the fall 2022 semester. To be eligible, a student must earn a cumulative semester grade point average of at least 3.4. Honorees are Katelyn Bartolotti of Millsboro, and Sydney Green of Lewes, who achieved the distinction of a 4.0 grade point average.

Smith, a graduate of Sussex Central High School, is a member of the Lebanon Valley College men's cross country team, and is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and physics.
