Blake Christiana from Yarn brings alt-country rock to Lewes June 1
Blake Christiana of the Grammy-nominated band Yarn will bring his alt-rock sound to The Room at Cedar Grove near Lewes at 6:30 p.m., Thurday, June 1. Newcomer Reagan Kent from Denton, Md., will join Christiana as his special guest.
The singer-songwriter showcase benefits Paul Kares, the charity founded by Paul Cullen and Jim Rivette to support aspiring musicians and hospitality-industry professionals.
Christiana is no stranger to high-profile stages. With Yarn, he shared the limelight with some of country music’s brightest stars including Dwight Yoakam, Charlie Daniels, Allison Krauss and Leon Russell. During the June 1 show, he will share the stories behind the songs in an intimate format that lets him connect with his audience. His performances are known for being powerful and soulful.
This showcase is $25 per ticket, and food and beverages will be available for a separate fee.
