Racers took a scenic tour through Cape Henlopen State Park May 13 as part of the annual Race 4 Warriors half-marathon and 5K
The race is intended to raise funds and support for veterans who served in the Middle East. The “4” in the race name represents the four Delaware beaches the race route passed through, as well as the support and awareness raised for veterans, wounded warriors and homeless veterans.
At the end of the race, each runner received a medal for finishing from an active-duty service member. Getting his medal at the line is Arnd Braun-Storch.
