Brimming Horn Meadery to rock sixth anniversary July 1

Brimming Horn Meadery will celebrate its sixth anniversary from 12 to 9 p.m., Saturday, July 1, with vendors, dogs and some Celtic rock, at 28615 Lewes Georgetown Highway, Milton.

Six years ago, owners Jon Talkington and Robert Walker Jr. brought mead to Southern Delaware, and they haven't looked back.

Brimming Horn will be serving mead, fruit wines, ciders and more, and attendees can grab some food from the Hammer and Horns food truck, visit with some great local vendors and snuggle with the adoptable dogs from Humane Animal Partners, set to arrive around noon.

Bagpiper Sean Reidy will kick off the music at 5 p.m. To headline the event, Pennsylvania's Hold Fast will play from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and Maryland's Poehemia will play from 8 to 9 p.m.
