James Sockriter, loved sports

James Sockriter, 41, of Georgetown passed away at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md., Thursday, April 12, 2012. Born in Milford on Feb. 26, 1971, he is survived by his wife Patricia, whom he married in 1995. He is also survived by his mother Jean and stepfather Cordia Warrington; his son, Colby Sockriter; his daughter, Hayley Sockriter; and his goddaughter, Jenna Penuel. He is also survived by one brother, Kevin Sockriter; one sister, Billie Jean Sockriter; and numerous extended family members and friends. He was a maintenance technician for the state of Delaware, working in facilities management. He loved bowling, fishing and any kinds of sports. He especially was an Eagles fan. He was well known to be a laid-back home boy who was extremely friendly and an outgoing, giving person. Services and arrangements are private.
