Chamber welcomes Pretzelvania with ribbon cutting

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Pretzelvania to its membership with a ribbon cutting.

Pretzelvania began as a fun idea more than six years ago when the Smith family members were vacationing together in California. “What if we brought our family soft pretzel recipe to a new market?” At that time, co-owners Wendy and Garry Smith were living in Pennsylvania, and co-owners Emmitt and Erika Smith were living in Alabama. Flash forward, and the four of them all moved to coastal Delaware and turned their dreams into a reality. In February 2023, they opened the Pretzelvania food truck.

The driving force behind starting this family business is to serve the community while sharing their love for soft pretzels. Their soft pretzels are reminiscent of the ones that can be found at farmers markets in central Pennsylvania. Pretzelvania donates all tips to community organizations and is always looking to find ways to positively impact the community.
