December 22, 2023

The following letter was sent to Rehoboth Beach Main Street with a copy provided to the Cape Gazette for publication.

I am writing to extend my deepest gratitude for the honor bestowed upon me at the Community Unity Dinner on Dec. 3. Receiving the Citizen of the Year Award from such a respected organization as Rehoboth Beach Main Street is an immense privilege, and I am truly humbled by this recognition.

The evening was a beautiful testament to the power of community and togetherness. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and camaraderie, highlighting the strength of the spirit of Rehoboth Beach. I must commend the entire team for orchestrating such a splendid event. Your dedication to fostering unity and celebrating achievements of our citizens is invaluable and greatly appreciated.

Receiving this award serves as a reminder of the importance of community involvement and collaboration. I am genuinely honored to be recognized among the outstanding individuals who have received this accolade in the past.

I am deeply grateful for the support, recognition and encouragement.
