Wildlife education center rebrands as Coastal Wilds

January 6, 2024

After years of dedicated commitment to wildlife education and conservation with its sister park in Louisiana, Barn Hill Preserve has announced its rebrand to Coastal Wilds. The name better reflects the park's individual identity, local community and growth over the last few seasons.

Located in Frankford, Coastal Wilds has been a home for more than 35 diverse species of animals, including otters, two-toed sloths, red kangaroos and many more. Its team members remain devoted to providing enriching educational experiences that inspire a passion for wildlife conservation.

Visitors to Coastal Wilds can look forward to hands-on and up-close encounters with the animal ambassadors, creating memorable moments while knowledgeable educators share insights about each species. In addition to showcasing the beauty of these creatures, Coastal Wilds’ mission is also to instill a sense of responsibility and empowerment in its guests to make a positive impact on the environment.

In addition to otter swims and encounter tours, Coastal Wilds offers unique seasonal events and tailor-made programs for schools all over the East Coast. Its educational initiatives aim to cultivate a passion for wildlife in future generations, making sure they are equipped with the knowledge and motivation to protect the planet's biodiversity.
