As the Five Points dysfunction junction project becomes more of a reality, no doubt it will not be long before it devolves into DelDot's Folly. After all, it’s only a Band-Aid for the Five Points problem. Further, it's but one of the many intersections and too-few-traffic-lane fiascos that contribute to our increasing traffic congestion.
The real solution would have been to long ago control the insane runaway housing overdevelopment now impacting our way of life. But, as they say, that train left the station long ago.
And sadly, it took with it what was once our Golden Goose.
