Revis-Plank cares about all of Milton

February 23, 2024

The Town of Milton will hold its election for town council members Saturday, March 2. I would like to endorse Lee Revis-Plank for re-election. She has been a very active member of Milton Town Council for the past three years, serving on many committees (some examples are executive, personnel, parking and special review). She currently is serving as vice mayor and comes to every meeting with ideas for possible solutions to any problem in our little town.

One very hot topic with both citizens of Milton and visitors to our town is the lack of parking downtown. Councilwoman Revis-Plank has been working on getting some solutions to this problem and vows, if re-elected, to continue to try to find additional answers.

One of the most impressive traits about Lee is that she not only cares about how things are now, but also that she looks to the future. She is very concerned about sea-level rise and wants Milton to have a plan in place for this. She is also concerned about energy sources and advocates a possible transition plan to solar energy.

Lee Revis-Plank keeps citizens aware of what is happening in the town through her Facebook page. She is very supportive of the nonprofits and the businesses of Milton, and can be seen at many of the town events. Currently, she has assumed the responsibility of obtaining food trucks for the summer Wednesday night concerts. She is a great advocate for the good of the town and its citizens. Her focus is on “what's best for the town as a whole.”

I urge you to consider voting to re-elect Lee Revis-Plank to Milton Town Council.
