Pathways to Success held its fourth annual graduation celebration May 9 at Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown.
Nearly 80 students walked across the stage to receive a diploma from Pathways to Success Board President Bill Collick.
Pathways student speakers were Mya Maull and Rhianna Norwood of Cape Henlopen High School, Jayden Norman of Milford and Jayden Hood of Seaford. The ceremonial speaker was Tysun Hicks, a Pathways alum and recent Delaware State University graduate.
Cords were presented by Executive Director Fay Blake and Collick.
“We are so proud of these seniors,” Blake said. “From the time they entered the ninth grade to the end of their high school careers, they have shown so much growth and confidence in themselves. These were the kids that everyone said would not make it. Through Pathways to Success caring and never giving up on them, they made it!”
Special awards were presented by Rob West and The Rashida Brown-Brojora Foundation.
