RAL sets decorative cigar box repurposing workshop June 15

Rehoboth Art League will offer a cigar box repurposing workshop with multimedia artist Ginny Barney from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 15, at 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres.

Each participant will transform a plain cigar box into a distinctive piece of art. Students will use specialty-themed papers, heavy adhesives and other embellishments to create a lovely decorative box for themselves or for a gift. A variety of themed papers will be available.

The session is open to students at a beginner skill level, 16 years and older. The cost of the class is $65 for RAL members or $75 for nonmembers. To register, call 302-227-8408, Ext. 112, or go to rehobothartleague.org.
