Kaisy’s Delights cuts ribbon on Elevation XXVI in Lewes

June 17, 2024

Kaisy’s Delights is now hosting Elevation XXVI in its Austrian chalet that rises 26 feet above sea level at 1548 Savannah Road, Wescoats Corner in Lewes.

The Lewes Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening.

Breakfast, lunch and the iconic Kaiserschmarrn, aka the Kaisy, are being served in the redesigned dining room that oozes elegance with full table service and pristine white tablecloths.

Elevated comfort food is the motto, as the extended menu is a translation of Thierry Langer’s own family cookbook with recipes from the various European nations his parents and grandparents came from: Poland, Austria, Hungary and France. In addition to the Kaiserschmarrn, specialties include ccroque-monsieur, bratwurst, quiches, pierogis, weisswurst, goulash soup, ratatouille, wiener schnitzel, Gröstl, an Austrian platter that is also surprisingly American, and more to be discovered. All bread comes from La Baguette French bakery in the neighboring Villages of Five Points.

Langer’s family history is on full display on the walls, along with views from the Tirolean Alps that inspired the concept. For more information, go to kaisysdelights.com.
