I loved the story of the bees on the Savannah Beach bench.
I was impressed with Donn the beekeeper’s stellar work re-homing the swarm. Whomever ordered this solution is wise. I only wonder, how Donn does this in shorts?
Also, I am a huge fan of Ryan Diehl and enjoyed his profile in the sports section. I’m a 10-year member of the Cripple Creek Golf and Country Club and resident of the beautiful 90-house community surrounding it.
As a total novice, having played bad golf before, I took lessons from Ryan.
It was a gift from my husband who played well in the past. After all, we lived in a beautiful golf course community. Shouldn’t we play golf?
I was self conscious at first. But that awkwardness soon fell away. Eventually I used the driving range on my own. Ryan might show up behind me to make constructive comments. His words always felt generous and kind.
I was impressed with Ryan’s patient use of imagery in his style of teaching. He never made me feel foolish. Watching his swing was like seeing a beautiful ballet.
His passions included rescue dog, Bunker. When Bunker needed expensive surgery, Ryan scraped together the cost.
That’s my kind of guy. I wish him extraordinary success in his new venture. I never felt a passion for golf but I tried. Thank you, Ryan.
