McGuiness never stops working for people

July 26, 2024

There are many strong candidates running to represent the 14th Representative District in the Delaware House.  As a former Rehoboth Beach city commissioner, I want to give a shout out to these and all candidates who step up to run for office.

While I believe that all the candidates would serve us well, I want to specifically highlight the extraordinary qualifications of Kathy McGuiness. Kathy is a hardworking, tenacious fighter for the people. Kathy and I served together in Rehoboth Beach, and I consistently observed Kathy creating real results for the citizens and businesses in our town.

Specifically, under Kathy’s leadership, several initiatives were implemented in Rehoboth Beach to support our economy and safety – wayfinding signage, resurgence of the Main Street organization, placement of mobi mats to enhance beach access and the establishment of an effective five-year capital investment plan for the city.

Each of these initiatives resulted in real, immediate improvements in the lives of our citizens and in the economic vitality of our town. Kathy never stops collaborating with state officials, Delaware residents, and businesses to get critical initiatives in place. Kathy delivers proven results for all constituents in our community with passion and tireless energy, and I encourage all to review her accomplishments and to vote for Kathy.
