Kathy McGuiness works for you

August 2, 2024

Kathy McGuiness rocks! She has had my back as a small business owner in Rehoboth Beach since 2009. Here are just a few instances when her help was so valuable:

1. In 2011, she voted and pushed to get steps into the entrance of Elite PT’s facility on Grenoble Place. Many were opposed to the change, but she supported that this would help the community have access to much-needed physical therapy services

2. In 2012, she supported and discussed with the city the importance of having handicapped spots where there were none on Grenoble Place to provide close parking for our elderly patients using walkers and wheelchairs, often after surgeries

3. She facilitated contact with the city to snowplow Grenoble Place to provide safe access to Elite PT, enabling patients to make their much-needed physical therapy appointments

4. She facilitated contact with the Delaware Physical Therapy Board to expedite processing our physical therapist employee license number so patients waiting to schedule appointments could qualify for needed services.

Simply, Kathy McGuiness rocks! She’s always available and an advocate for you. She makes it happen, unlike too many politicians who are more about the position and less about the people they serve!!
