Beach Bowl to raise funds for Lewes Fire Department Sept. 12
The Lewes Lions Club and the Lewes Fire Department will partner to present the Beach Bowl fundraiser from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, at Lefty’s Alley & Eats, Lewes.
Funds raised will go toward a new ladder truck for the fire department.
The Lions are seeking five-person teams willing to raise $750 per team through individual contributions or sponsorships. Teams are encouraged to dress in their favorite funny beach costumes and come ready to enjoy a free night of bowling, an event T-shirt, pizza and soda along with the chance to win door prizes.
Awards will also be given for the highest fundraiser, best team costume and more.
