Rehoboth Cottage & Town Awards nominations due Sept. 23
Rehoboth Beach Main Street announced nominations are open for its Cottage & Town Awards.
The awards recognize residential and commercial property owners who contribute to the charm, beauty and history of Rehoboth Beach through architectural and landscape architectural renovation, restoration and preservation. This year’s nominations will include projects completed between June 2023 and June 2024.
Anyone can nominate a residential or commercial property located within the city limits.
The 2024 award categories are Residential Renovation-Restoration, Residential New Build, Commercial Renovation-Restoration Preservation, and Landscape/Hardscape Architectural Renovation-Restoration.
Submissions are due by 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 23. To nominate a property, email dan@downtownrb.com with the property address, project completion date, nominee phone number and a brief description of why the property is worthy of the award. Nominators may also call the RBMS office at 302-227-2772 to provide the information.
All nominations will be reviewed, and winners will be selected by the Rehoboth Beach Main Street Design Committee.
Winners will be notified Monday, Sept. 30. Awards will be presented during a ceremony set for 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 6, at Kiwi’s Tiki Hut Restaurant, 101 N Boardwalk, Atlantic Sands Hotel.
