To ring in the fall season, Lewes Fire Department held its second annual Apple Cider Festival Sept. 28 at the department’s Station 2 in Nassau.
The event featured a large vendor market, a petting zoo and horseback rides from The Little Farm and, as the main attraction, apple donuts and apple cider from Fifer Orchards.

A perfect weather day allowed for thousands to attend the festival and get some cider, brightening the day of festival goers like Patty Coffield.

Perhaps the two most popular people at the Apple Cider Festival are cider pourers Dennis Moore, right, and Jeri MacCoy.
