U.S. Rep. Sarah McBride, who recently took office as the congressional representative from the nation’s most populous at-large district – Delaware, with 1,050,000 residents – was on hand to recognize the 2024 Clerk of the Year and Town Manager of the Year honorees during the Feb. 27 Delaware League of Local Governments meeting.
With 120 DLLG members in attendance, McBride spoke about the federal administration’s executive orders, the funding freeze and her work as an appointee serving on various congressional committees. With a commitment to protect Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, McBride reinforced her dedication to representing all Delawareans at the federal, state and local levels.
