Electric Smoke entertains the crowd. The Cape Community Fund held a fundraiser at Irish Eyes in Lewes April 27. The fund, a local charity formed by Lewes High School Class of 1969, is dedicated to the concept of neighbors helping neighbors.
Attendees to the event were treated to an afternoon of music, a food buffet and a cash bar. Entertainment was provided by Earth Jam, The Funsters, the 33 1/3 band and Electric Smoke.
Local artisans donated their wares for a silent auction. A 50/50 was also held.
“Our annual fundraiser at Irish Eyes was a big success, as usual, thanks to all the local support we receive,” said Cape Community Fund board member Butch Archer. “I'd like to give a big shout out to my fellow board members and our volunteers for helping make the event a success. And the bands, year after year, they donate their time and talent. With everyone's support, we are able to continue helping those in need in the Cape Region.”
The Cape Community Fund assists those in the Cape Region dealing with catastrophic events in their lives.
