A van crashed into the Rehoboth Beach Plaza sign along Route 1 in the Forgotten Mile outside Rehoboth Beach May 22. Employees of Rehoboth Auto Repair next door didn’t see the crash, but reportedly heard it about 1:45 p.m. The incident appears to involve at least two vehicles. No information about injuries was provided. Personnel from Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Department, Rehoboth Beach Police, Sussex EMS and Delaware State Police responded to the incident. More information will be added if it is released.
