When Sherry Wyatt has an idea, there’s absolutely no stopping her. This was proven once again when Hudson Fields in Milton was transformed May 24 into a vibrant celebration of summer with the annual Red, White & Berries festival. Hosted by Saltwater Roots Boutique, Grass Roots Rescue, and the DD Project, the event welcomed residents and visitors from all over to enjoy a day filled with berry-themed delights and community fun.
Attendees indulged in fresh strawberries from Fifer Orchards, savoring strawberry shortcakes and other sweet treats, while exploring a bustling market featuring more than 80 local vendors offering crafts, food and unique goods.
The festival also featured a variety of family-friendly activities including a petting zoo and inflatables for children. With a nominal entry fee of $2 for adults and free admission for children, the event provided an affordable and enjoyable outing for all. Red, White & Berries continues to be a cherished tradition marking the unofficial start of summer and celebrating the local community spirit.
