A crash at the intersection of southbound Route 1 and Minos Conaway Road June 6 created a traffic nightmare for drivers in the Lewes area.
The incident happened about 9:15 a.m. It involved two vehicles, one of which was disabled in the middle of the southbound Route 1 lanes, forcing a closure of the roadway. Traffic stacked up beyond Cave Neck Road while the incident was cleared.
