Sussex needs public facilities ordinance

July 22, 2025

Sussex County blatantly avoids measures to control the ridiculous growth.

Most counties in America have an adequate public facilities ordinance. The purpose of this ordinance is to regulate growth with infrastructure as well as limit construction until the infrastructure is adequate.

In addition, it demands a significant contribution by developers that are flocking here because of the lack of this ordinance. They come from APFO counties because they reap a fortune without this ordinance.

This APFO is in effect in our two other counties, so why do they refuse to enact it here?

We have our suspicions.
