Lewes Base Ball Club to host three matches Aug. 23

The Lewes Base Ball Club will welcome two clubs for Base Ball at the Beach Saturday, Aug. 23, on the field at the Villages at Five Points near the intersection of East Edgemoor Street and Old Orchard Road.
Three matches will be played using the rules of 1864. At 11:30 a.m., Lewes will take on Rising Sun Baseball Club. At 1 p.m., Rising Sun will play Elkton Eclipse Base Ball Club, and at 2:30 p.m., Lewes will square off against Elkton.
The club is a nonprofit organization with membership open to all.
