Mispillion Art League juried exhibit continues thru Oct. 25

September 10, 2025

The Mispillion Art League’s 22nd Annual Judged & Juried Exhibit featuring a diverse collection of works from local artists will be on display through Saturday, Oct. 25, at 5 N. Walnut St., Milford.

Artist Eric Wahl took Best in Show with his mixed media piece titled “How Do You Measure Time?” The found-art assemblage is a conceptual exploration of time and the human experience. Vintage photos and illustrations evoke whimsical nostalgia. Intertwined are everyday tools like clocks and rulers that reflect humans’ need to measure life. The intricately crafted piece keeps viewers endlessly intrigued.

The exhibition was judged blind by Trudi C. Van Dyke, an independent curator and fine arts consultant, who specializes in exhibitions of fiber and fine craft. She curates arts exhibitions nationally and internationally.

A landscape architect with a local engineering firm, Wahl is inspired by nature, architecture and the balance between the two. He is a multifaceted artist with a passion for fine crafts like ceramics and jewelry-making, and is always eager to dive into new mediums.

Wahl has been with Mispillion Art League since 2020, and he was named board president in 2022.
