Local writers release poetry collaboration

Writers Jack Mackey of Rehoboth Beach and Linda Blaskey of Lincoln announced the release of “Our Various Selves,” a collection of poems, in collaboration with friends Jim Bourey of New York and Isabelle Bohl of Minnesota.

The four met through writers’ groups in Rehoboth and Potsdam, N.Y., and became fast friends with a common goal of improving their poetry skills by working together.

Mackey and Blaskey are both recipients of fellowship grants from Delaware Division of the Arts, with Blaskey having received a 2022 master’s in literature. Both are members of Coastal Writers, as is Bourey, who spends winters in Rehoboth. Mackey is also a member of Rehoboth Beach Writers’ Guild.
