The Parkinson’s Education and Support Group of Sussex County announced its Living Well with Parkinson’s Expo will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, at Cape Henlopen High School, 1250 Kings Highway, Lewes.
The event is dedicated to providing education, resources and support for people with Parkinson’s disease, their care partners, families, and the entire active aging community.
This year’s expo will bring together more than 40 vendors and two expert-led speaker panels featuring medical professionals, therapy specialists, legal advisors and representatives from national Parkinson’s foundations and leading pharmaceutical companies. Attendees will also enjoy a live performance by the Parkinson’s Chorus and lunch from on-site food trucks.
The expo isn’t just for those living with Parkinson’s; it’s also an invaluable event for care partners, families, and anyone interested in aging well and staying active. Guests will discover resources on physical wellness, emotional well-being, cognitive health and community connection.
Proceeds benefit ongoing PESGSC programs for the Sussex County Parkinson’s community.
