The Peninsula men’s group donates to American Legion Auxiliary

The Happy Hour Men’s Club at The Peninsula on the Indian River Bay recently presented a $4,050 donation to the American Legion Post 28 Auxiliary. The auxiliary supports the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery and the Delaware Veterans Home.

To raise funds each year, the club’s 32 members solicit sponsors for the placement of 430 American and military flags along the main roadway in the community on national holidays.
