RAL to host portfolio day for high school art students Oct. 11

The Rehoboth Art League will host a portfolio day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, in the RAL galleries at 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres, for high school seniors and underclassmen who are interested in pursuing an art major in college. 

Portfolio day is designed for interested students to meet with colleges and universities from the surrounding areas to learn about their art programs. Attendees will be able to talk with representatives about their schools and what kinds of art degrees are offered.

Participating institutions include Delaware State University, Delaware Technical Community College, Temple University, Moore College of Art and Design, and Salisbury University. Students are encouraged to bring examples of their current artwork, either digitally or physically, to receive feedback and advice on how to build their portfolios and make their admission applications successful.
