I enjoyed Gary Vorsheim’s letter to the editor advocating to prioritize responsible growth encompassing the needs of Sussex County residents. Building the proposed Atlantic Fields at Route 16 and Route 1 is calculating smart growth. Building the Atlantic Fields stores and including a DART transit station with parking would well serve residents and visitors who prefer to ride the bus, could do so from Milton and alleviate congestion. A permanent farmers market pavilion would round out the community-focused shopping and multipurpose destination.
