The Friends of the Rehoboth Beach Public Library hosted Sippin’ in the Stacks, its annual donor appreciation party, Oct. 10 at the library. The event shows appreciation for the support of the group, which also unveiled the newest names on the Lifelong Friends plaque.
The Friends of the Rehoboth Beach Public Library is a nonprofit civic organization focused on supporting the library. It accomplishes that in a number of ways, including, but not limited to, fundraising to exclusively benefit the library and supplying 100% of the cost of every new book, DVD, CD, magazine, newspaper and enrichment program.
During the event, library board member Kay Wheatley provided an update on the progress of the renovation project for the downtown location.
